Story and Core Beliefs
New Tree of Life was born from a deep personal understanding of mental health struggles and a profound dissatisfaction with conventional, often impersonal, mental healthcare. Growing up, I found solace and answers in books, driven by a need to understand myself and find effective support. My experiences, both personal and professional, working with individuals with diverse disabilities, revealed a common thread: many people felt let down by a system that prioritised profit over progress, often leaving them without the tools to truly thrive. This led me to pursue a path where client well-being and genuine growth are paramount, establishing New Tree of Life in Rolleston, New Zealand, as a place focused on holistic solutions and true empowerment.

At New Tree of Life, our approach is centred on holistic options and continuous research and development. We recognise that individuals are unique; what works for one person may not work for another. We believe in fostering small, consistent successes to help clients reach their goals. Understanding mental illness and trauma deeply, we don't just listen; we educate and empower our clients to accept themselves through understanding. Our focus extends beyond the individual to include family, lifestyle, and environment, ensuring comprehensive support for lasting change. We are a Christian, Conservative counseling service, dedicated to providing quality of life solutions.
